There are five levels of sponsorship for this event, PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE and IN-KIND. Sponsorships are on a first-come-first-served basis. To ensure the quality of the conference, the conference planning team reserves the right to exclude potential sponsors who, in their sole discretion, are deemed inappropriate for the conference. Details of each sponsorship opportunity are included below.

 

FILLED – NO LONGER AVAILABLE: Platinum Sponsorship: Requires financial contribution

Sponsorship: $10,000

Availability: One

Benefits: In addition to ALL Gold financial sponsorship benefits, the Platinum sponsorship includes the following additional benefits:

  1. Placement of corporate banners in all instructional computer labs used during the conference (est. six), as well as in the area of the general welcome session. The sponsor is responsible for providing and shipping corporate banners.
  2. Prominent identification as either the host for snacks, both breakfasts or both lunches.
  3. Dominant corporate logo placement and sizing on the conference t-shirt given to all attendees.
  4. One additional courtesy admission (for a total of three) to the 2017 Information Security Symposium.
  5. Post-conference lunch for two with UC Davis Chief Information Officer and Vice Provost-Information and Educational Technology and Chief Information Security Officer.
  6. First right of refusal to provide the conference bag to hold all conference and sponsor materials. If conference bag is provided. NOTE: If conference bag is provided, it must be received by May 1, 2017.

Gold Sponsorship: Requires financial contribution

Benefits: The gold financial sponsorship includes the following benefits:

  1. Reserved time slot to deliver one conference session (partnering with a campus presenter is recommended). NOTE: Session abstract and name of speaker must be submitted by January 20, 2017 at 2017 Information Security Symposium Proposals.  Session time will be confirmed by March 2017 or when the conference schedule is published.
  2. Reserved time slot to give a 30-minute product update.
  3. Tabling opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants during vendor display session during an extended lunch. Attendee business cards or contact information can be collected for sponsor-hosted drawings during the lunch period.
  4. Corporate logo included on the conference t-shirt given to all attendees. NOTE: Logo (in EPS format) must be submitted to the conference planning team by January 13, 2017.
  5. Opportunity to provide materials to be included in conference bag. NOTE: Any sponsor materials to be included in the conference bag must be received by May 1, 2017.
  6. Opportunity to contribute to the conference door prize pool. The contribution will be attributed.
  7. Opportunity to contribute to a meal or snack break if available. The contribution will be attributed.
  8. Two courtesy admissions to the 2017 Information Security Symposium.
  9. Conference registration list with email addresses for all attendees who have given their approval for such sharing.
  10. Option to provide the conference bag to hold all conference and sponsor materials.

Silver Sponsorship: Requires financial contribution

Benefits: The Silver financial sponsorship includes the following benefits:

Benefits: The Bronze financial sponsorship includes the following benefits:

  1. Reserved time slot to deliver one conference session (partnering with a campus presenter is recommended). FILLED – NO LONGER AVAILABLE: In-Kind Instructional Sponsorship: For Vendors with Educational/Training Programs

Requirements: The In-kind instructional sponsorship for vendors with educational/training programs requires the sponsor to:

  1. Opportunity to demonstrate training skills and knowledge proficiency by delivering up to two single-topic computing lab courses that will be offered twice during the conference. Each course should be 2 hours in duration. Lab courses MUST integrate lecture with hands-on exercises or activities. Instructional sessions may be excerpts from regularly scheduled training courses. The conference planning committee has the sole discretion to waive the second lab course offering.
  2. The conference planning committee will provide lab computers (about 25 computers per lab), as well as a computer for the instructor. The committee will preload instructional material on lab computers. Lab computers will have Internet access. The sponsor may opt to provide (at no additional cost to the conference) its own computers (minimum of 25) to be used for instruction. In this case, the committee will provide classroom space and wireless connectivity for the computers. The sponsor must confirm the provision of computers by January 20, 2017.
  3. Provide lab content based on suggested topics or content agreed upon by mutual consent with the conference planning committee.
  4. Submit an outline of the lab to the conference planning committee by January 20, 2017 at 2017 Information Security Symposium Proposals. NOTE: Hands-on instructional content that can be provided via registrant owned laptop computers will also be accepted (as long as no special laptop preparation is required and all required laptop computer specifications are also provided).
  5. Submit instructional computer requirements and any electronic instructional material to the conference planning committee by May 1, 2017.

Benefits: The In-kind instructional sponsorship includes the following benefits:

  1. Opportunity to demonstrate training skills and knowledge proficiency by delivering up to two computing lab instructional sessions. Instructional sessions may be excerpts from regularly scheduled training courses.
  2. Tabling opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants during vendor display session during an extended lunch. Attendee business cards or contact information can be collected for sponsor-hosted drawings during the lunch period.
  3. Corporate logo included on the conference t-shirt given to all attendees. NOTE: Logo (in EPS format) must be submitted to the conference planning committee no later than January 13, 2017.
  4. Opportunity to provide materials to be included in conference bag. NOTE: Any sponsor materials to be included in the conference bag must be received by May 1, 2017.
  5. Opportunity to contribute to the conference door prize pool. The contribution will be attributed
  6. Four courtesy admissions to the 2017 Information Security Symposium.
  7. Conference registration list with email addresses for all attendees who have given their approval for such sharing.
