Sponsorship Information

This event has four levels of sponsorship: PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER, and IN KIND. Sponsorships are reviewed and selected by the symposium planning committee. To ensure the quality of the conference, the committee reserves the right to exclude potential sponsors who, in the committee's sole discretion, are deemed inappropriate for the conference. Details of each sponsorship opportunity are included below.

Platinum Sponsorship: Minimum financial contribution $20,000

Availability: One
Benefits: Platinum sponsorship includes these benefits:

  1. Financial contribution over $20,000 is accepted and will be recognized during opening remarks.
  2. Placement of corporate banners in a highly visible area in the virtual exhibitor hall and in the welcome area as well. The sponsor is responsible for providing corporate banners.
  3. Courtesy admissions for up to 10 attendees.
  4. Post-conference meeting with the UC Davis Chief Information Officer/Vice Provost of Information and Educational Technology, and the Chief Information Security Officer.
  5. A reserved time slot to deliver one conference session (partnering with a campus presenter is recommended). NOTE: Session abstract and name of the speaker must be submitted to the planning committee by February 28, 2021, at 2021isschairs@ucdavis.edu. Session time will be confirmed by April 2021, or when the conference schedule is published.
  6. Option to provide one keynote speaker agreed upon by mutual consent with the planning committee.
  7. A reserved time slot to give a 30-minute product update.
  8. Opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants during breaks and lunches.
  9. Corporate logo included on the conference website and virtual conference hosting platform. PLEASE NOTE: Logo (in EPS format) must be submitted to the planning committee by February 28, 2021.
  10. Opportunity to lead a post-conference product or technology talk (date TBD). The Information Security Office's outreach coordinator will arrange a one-hour briefing for the sponsor to meet campus technologists and update them on the latest products or solutions.
  11. Opportunity to contribute to the conference door prize pool. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor.
  12. Access to the conference registration list with email addresses for all attendees who agree to share this information.
  13. List of virtual booth visitors.

Gold Financial Sponsorship: Minimum financial contribution $10,000

Benefits: The gold sponsorship includes these benefits:

  1. Financial contribution over $10,000 is accepted and will be recognized during opening remarks.
  2. A reserved time slot to deliver one conference session (partnering with a campus presenter is recommended). NOTE: Session abstract and name of the speaker must be submitted to the planning committee by February 28, 2021 at 2021isschairs@ucdvis.edu. Session time will be confirmed by April 2021 or when the conference schedule is published.
  3. A reserved time slot to give a 30-minute product update.
  4. Opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants during breaks and lunches.

Silver Financial Sponsorship: Minimum financial contribution $5,000

Benefits: The silver sponsorship includes these benefits:

  1. Financial contribution over $5,000 is accepted and will be recognized during opening remarks.
  2. Opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants during breaks and lunches.
  3. Corporate logo included on the conference website. PLEASE NOTE: Logo (in EPS format) must be submitted to the planning committee by February 28, 2021 at 2021isschairs@ucdavis.edu.
  4. Opportunity to contribute to the conference door prize pool. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor.
  5. Opportunity to contribute to virtual entertainment, if available. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor.
  6. Courtesy admissions for up to three attendees.

In-Kind Instructional Sponsorship for Vendors with Educational/Training Programs

Requirements: This level requires the sponsor to:

  1. Demonstrate training skills and knowledge by delivering up to two single-topic computing lab courses that may be offered twice during the conference. Each course should be 2 hours long. Lab courses MUST integrate lecture with practical exercises or activities. Instructional sessions maybe excerpts from regularly scheduled training courses. The planning committee has the sole discretion to waive the requirement for a second lab course offering.
  2. Provide lab content based on suggested topics or content agreed upon by mutual consent with the planning committee.
  3. Submit an outline of the lab to the planning committee by February 28, 2021. NOTE: Hands-on instructional content that can be provided via registrant owned laptop computers will also be accepted (as long as no special laptop preparation is required and all required laptop computer specifications are also provided).
  4. Submit instructional computer requirements and any electronic instructional material to the planning committee by May 1, 2021 at 2021isschairs@ucdavis.edu.

Benefits: The in-kind instructional sponsorship includes these benefits:

  1. Opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants during breaks and lunches.
  2. Opportunity to contribute to the conference door prize pool. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor.
  3. Courtesy admission for up to three attendees.
  4. List of training attendees who attended session(s) presented by the sponsor.
