Sponsorship Information

This event has four levels of sponsorship: PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER, and IN-KIND. Sponsorships are reviewed and selected by the planning committee. To ensure the quality of the conference, the committee reserves the right to exclude potential sponsors who, in the committee's sole discretion, are deemed inappropriate for the conference. Details of each sponsorship opportunity are included below.

Platinum Sponsorship: Minimum financial contribution $20,000

Availability: One
Benefits: Platinum sponsorship includes the following benefits:

  1. Financial contribution will be recognized during opening remarks.
  2. Courtesy admissions for up to 10 attendees.
  3. Post-conference meeting with the UC Davis Chief Information Officer/Vice Provost - Information and Educational Technology, and the Chief Information Security Officer.
  4. Placement of corporate banners in a highly visible area. (Sponsor provides virtual corporate banner)
  5. Option to provide one keynote speaker, mutually agreed upon by the planning committee.
  6. Opportunity to lead a post-conference product or technology talk (date TBD). The Information Security Office Outreach Coordinator will arrange a one-hour briefing for the sponsor to meet campus technologists and update them on products or solutions.
  7. Conference registration list with email addresses for all attendees who agree to share this information. 
  8. A reserved time slot to deliver one conference session (partnering with a campus presenter is recommended). 
  9. A reserved time slot to give a 30-minute product update during the conference.
  10. List of virtual booth visitors who agree to share this information. 
  11. Opportunity to contribute branded items to conference gifts. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor. 
  12. Corporate logo included on the conference website and virtual conference hosting platform. 
  13. Opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants throughout the Symposium. 
  14. Opportunity to contribute to the conference door prize pool. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor.

Gold Financial Sponsorship: Minimum financial contribution $10,000

Availability: Three
Benefits: The gold sponsorship includes the following benefits:

  1. Financial contribution will be recognized during opening remarks.
  2. A reserved time slot to deliver one conference session (partnering with a campus presenter is recommended). 
  3. A reserved time slot to provide a 30-minute product update during the conference.
  4. Opportunity to lead a post-conference 30-minute product update. 
  5. List of virtual booth visitors who agree to share this information. 
  6. Opportunity to contribute branded items to conference gifts. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor. 
  7. Corporate logo included on the conference website and virtual conference hosting platform. 
  8. Opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants throughout the the symposium. 
  9. Opportunity to contribute to the conference door prize pool. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor. 

Silver Financial Sponsorship: Minimum financial contribution $5,000

Availability: Four
Benefits: The silver sponsorship includes the following benefits:

  1. Financial contribution will be recognized during opening remarks.
  2. List of virtual booth visitors who agree to share this information.
  3. Opportunity to contribute branded items to conference gifts. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor. 
  4. Corporate logo included on the conference website and virtual conference hosting platform. 
  5. Opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants throughout the the symposium. 
  6. Opportunity to contribute to the conference door prize pool. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor. 

In-Kind Instructional Sponsorship for Vendors with Educational/Training Programs

Requirements: The in-kind instructional sponsorship for vendors with educational/training programs requires the sponsor to:

  1. Deliver up to two single-topic computing lab courses that may be offered twice during the conference. Each course should be 90 minutes in duration. 
  2. Provide lab content based on suggested topics or content agreed upon by mutual consent with the planning committee.
  3. Submit an outline of the lab to the planning committee by March 15, 2023.
    NOTE: Hands-on instructional content that can be provided via registrant-owned laptop computers will also be accepted (as long as no special laptop preparation is required and all required laptop computer specifications are also provided).
  4. Submit instructional computer requirements and any electronic instructional material to the planning committee by May 15, 2023.

Benefits: The in-kind instructional sponsorship includes the following benefits:

  1. In-kind contribution is accepted and will be recognized during opening remarks. 
  2. Corporate logo included on the conference website and virtual conference hosting platform. 
  3. Opportunity to meet and interact with conference registrants throughout the symposium. 
  4. Opportunity to contribute to the conference door prize pool. The contribution will be attributed to the sponsor.
